We won Best Bridal Retailer 2018!!!

The dust has settled, hangovers have been cured and we are all still on cloud 9 following our win!!!

Every September sees the great and good of the bridal world descend on Harroagte – a beautiful Spa town in the North of England.

It’s one of the biggest trade shows of the year and the perfect opportunity to catch up with our designers and industry friends.

It also plays host to the Bridal Buyer Awards – our industry Oscars!

And this year was a big year for Lulu’s, we were finalist in the Longstanding Retailer Category!

You see, my girl (Lulu!) will be 13 whole years old this December.

We were super excited to throw on our glad rags and celebrate a wonderful Summer. We had no expectations of winning, just good intentions to let our hair down and enjoy a gin (or 5!).

But if I’m truly honest with you, I really felt like my team deserved to win and this year could be our year.

And it was!

All the emotions were felt when our name was read out, the look on my teams face was priceless.

We’ve had the busiest Summer and our tiny boutique has been filled with love and laughter and we’ve loved every single minute of it.

I won’t pretend it hasn’t been exhausting and Summer holidays are an absolute no go, but we’ve had a blast!
