As soon as we got engaged, I knew I wanted to shop for a wedding dress at Lulu Browns!
I had always admired the shop anytime I drove past it and saw the beautiful gowns in the windows.
I went to my first appointment with my Mum, Auntie and maid of honour.
The shop was just as amazing as I expected (and more!) The gowns were all absolutely stunning and the staff were full of knowledge, ideas, very calming - I didn’t feel pressured at all.
I tried lots of different shapes and styles of dresses however I kept going back to a certain one, I tried it on 3 times. Every time I put it on a felt amazing in it and had a huge smile on my face, that’s when I knew that was the one!
It’s so hard to pick out a favourite moment from our wedding. However as soon as we started planning the big day, I always said I wanted a saxophone player at the night do. So I’d probably say my favourite moment was our first dance and when all our family and friends joined in!
If I could give any advice to future bride visiting Lulus, I would say be open minded about trying on loads of different styles, don’t just have one type of dress in mind before you start trying them on.
