Lulu's was recommended to me by a friend so I started following the Instagram page and felt like I knew everyone before I had even stepped foot in the shop!
Such a funny friendly page!
My first visit to Lulu's was amazing everyone made me feel so welcomed and I instantly felt comfortable in the shop!
Lulu's has so many AMAZING dresses and I was spoilt for choice! I was torn between two dresses and Penny my consultant gave me lots of advice on the dresses!
She then asked Jess and other colleagues to come and help decided on the two! I knew straight away I wanted Lavender but it was great to get reassurance from the experts as its such a big decision! Lavender is a unique, special dress!

Every time I went for a fitting or to add extra accessories the experience was always the same, all the staff would go over and above to ensure I had everything I needed! Such a family felt experience which is very special when you are choosing a wedding dress.
I took my mum and my sister to my fitting and as soon as I put Lavender on I knew this was the dress for me, it was very different to your usually wedding dress, modern and stylish but also bridal, and I had never seen any dress like it!
In my head I wanted a slim, figure hugging dress and Lavender really threw me off this decision, however I knew as soon as I had the dress on that I had made the right choice, and the girls at Lulu helped me know it was the one for me!

There is so many memories to choose from because our day was filled with laughter from the start of the ceremony right to the end!
Our youngest 18 month old daughter was centre of attention in our ceremony, being in the middle of us doing our vows and not allowing us to hold hands, to our guests dancing on the tables at 4pm in the afternoon!
The day was just one big celebration.
Any hints or tips for future Lulu's bride?
Don't overthink what you want your dress to be like before you go try some on I researched and researched and went for a total different dress!
I think its good to go try dresses on and take advice from your consultant and just go with your gut!
