Your Lulu's Appointment

We cannot wait to meet you!

If you have recently booked your own private appointment with us or are hoping to book to find your dream Lulu’s gown, we cannot wait to meet you! We pride ourselves on our customer service, our fabulously eclectic choice of gowns and our full styling service. From the moment you book your first appointment right up until your wedding day, we go above and beyond for each and every single bride. Our boutique is super friendly, homely and welcoming, our walls are filled with magic and I promise you, won’t want to leave! Booking Your Appointment... Our brand new online booking service allows you to book your own appointment at your convenience, meaning you can arrange the perfect date and time with your guests and amend your own appointment date or time should you need to. We recommend ordering your dream gown around 12-18 months before your big day, please do not worry if you do not have this long, we are used to dealing with shorter time scales! Our sample sizes range from a UK10-UK22, all of the gowns we currently have in stock are available to view on our website with the size of our sample and the price of each gown displayed.

Each new appointment has a £25.00 booking fee, which is fully refundable on your dream Lulu’s gown. Your private appointment will be with one of our fabulous, experienced stylists for 2 hours, in your own private fitting room. Your stylist will be with you for the full 2 hours, guiding you through, assisting you in and out of each gown and ensuring you have a full styling service, from gown ideas to any accessories you may wish to try! We can welcome the bride plus up to 3 guests on the day and we are more than happy to provide our wifi details for any extra guests who would love to join via facetime! Your Appointment... A form will be sent to you via text message/email a few days before your appointment, this is where you will fill out the details of your wedding, the date of your special day, if you have tried gowns on before, a budget you would like to work towards and any extra notes you think will help us on the day! This form will also allow you to note down your favourite gowns from our website that you would love to try. This is a great starting point and gives your stylist an insight into your personal style and the type of gowns you are hoping to try at your appointment. Your stylist will guide you through your appointment process when you arrive on the day, chatting to you about your wedding and getting to know you a little before the fun begins! We will pull out the gowns you have chosen online when you arrive on the day, as well as giving you the chance to have a look through the gowns in the boutique to see if any catch your eye!


We are here to make your whole journey as seamless and as comfortable as possible, we also know that for a lot of brides, trying on bridal gowns is a daunting and overwhelming process. Our team are extremely friendly and I promise we will make you feel comfortable and at ease. Once you have stepped into a couple of gowns and got into the swing of things, it’s a fun and fabulous couple of hours! Every bride and bridal party will be offered drinks on arrival, tea or coffee, flavoured waters or gin and tonic (would it be Lulu’s without a gin)?! Once you are settled in your fitting room, your stylist will ask if you would like to try heels with your gown and sometimes the bride may like to try a certain gown first, please, ask away, this is when the fun begins! Together with your stylist, you will work your way through your list of chosen gowns, there is no rush, we can take our time in each gown, we can try veils/accessories too once you step into a gown you love, to complete your bridal look! Each fitting room is also equipped with tissues should the tears start flowing! We usually love to step back into your favourite gown at the end of your appointment to confirm your choice and of course to get one last look at you in your dream Lulu’s gown! Remember, nothing is too much trouble, if you think of any questions at all while you’re here with us, please ask away! We are here to provide as much information and help as possible to ensure your whole bridal gown journey is stress free!

The Ordering Process... Once you have made the exciting decision to say yes to your dream Lulu’s gown, the celebrations begin! Your stylist will then take your bust, waist and hip measurements to order your beautiful bridal gown, as our designers work to standard sizes – ie. UK12/UK14/UK16 etc.. your stylist will recommend the best size to order and your fabulous seamstress will ensure your gown fits like a glove once she arrives! We ask for a 50% deposit to order your dream gown and she will arrive around 3-4 months before your big day! We ask for a full payment for any veils or accessories, these can be ordered along with your dream gown or alone if you are visiting us for an accessories appointment! If you have chosen a sample gown, we ask for the full payment for your gown and she is then yours to take away with you on the day - how exciting! We cannot wait to welcome you to Lulu’s, our boutique is ready and waiting with your dream gown on our rails and of course, you can’t leave without having your picture taken with our famous sign to say you’ve said yes to your dream Lulu’s dress!!
