We are starting a new blog series here at Lulu's, all about showcasing our beautiful brides on their big day! We absolutely love seeing our brides full journey and recieving photos from the wedding day and seeing how the full bridal style came together!
To kick off this series of blogs, we are going to start with the beautiful Natalie who wore our fabulously feminine Emmeline by Jesus Peiro, a stylist's favourite in the boutique, Emmeline is the epitome of chic and modern, her soft, textured full length sleeves and floaty skirt create the most ethereal look.
Natalie paired her Emmeline gown with a bespoke bow by Arianna Bespoke Accessories, Natalie wanted to bring the texture from the top of her gown through into her accessories, so we worked together with Arianna Bespoke to create her perfect bow!
I asked Natalie a handfull of questions about the moment she chose her perfect gown and the full Lulu's journey...
- What designer/gown did you go for and why?
I chose the Emmeline dress by Jesus Peiro - Honestly, I saw it on Lulu's Instagram page and straight away knew it was the one. I wanted something quite simple and romantic, I instantly knew I would love it.
- What made you choose Lulu’s initially?
The whole vibe - everything from the dresses to the boutique itself meant I really wanted to come along and have a look but then when I saw the Emmeline dress on Instagram, I knew I had to book in.
- What was the best part of your dress shopping journey?
Nothing was too much trouble for the girls at Lulu's. When my gown arrived, I actually came back to try it on my own & just having a little moment on my own in my dress really was special to me.
- One piece of advice you’d pass onto to brides to be?
Don't stress - it's hard but on the day, all the little things you worry about in the run up don't even matter. Enjoy every second of the journey.
- How did you know when you’d found ‘the one’?
You might try a gown on that you like but when you find 'the one' you really do just know. I felt so comfortable the instant I put the Emmeline gown on, I knew I didn't need to try anymore.
