Boho Style Blog

Ahhhh, wedding themes/styles, everything regarding the style of your wedding is so exciting!

I know what you're thinking, a 'theme' sounds very dated. But this term can be used in many different ways. It could just be a colour you love which runs throughout your wedding, from the save the date and stationary up to your flowers and bridesmaid dresses on the day of the wedding.

This time, we're chatting all things 'boho' weddings!

I do think that the term boho means something different to different people. We are thinking a more relaxed style of wedding day, a loose fitting, comfortably cool bridal gown. Gorgeous rust, natural tones throughout your wedding colours, a rustic barn or teepee style venue and a chilled out vibe!

If this sounds right up your street, sit tight! We have the perfect gowns and inspiration for you!

We have been really getting into Pinterest recently, you can find tons of inspiration for absolutely any subject on there, check out our boards for all things bridal and weddings!

Boho style weddings have become more and more popular in recent years, with couples having more low key, relaxed weddings days or even eloping (sneaking off to get married alone) just the two of you. We know very well here at Lulu's, that not every bride dreams of a formal, traditional wedding dress. Some brides opt for something a little more laid-back and relaxed, with a rise in brides choosing a two piece or an effortlessly cool, floaty gown, if this sounds more like your style, rock it!

So, here we go, let's of course start with gowns...

First up is our incredible Elena by Modeca, the most incredible Dutch designer and a boho brides dream! Her unique embroidered, dotty details, long sleeves and floaty skirt are a match made in heaven.

Next up is our ethereal Eden, again by Modeca, another boho dream, if you're looking for something a little different in your bridal gown, look no further!

Both of these beautiful gowns will pair perfectly with a boho style wedding theme, add in some Pinterest worthy stationary, muted colour tones and you're onto a winner!

Remember, not everything has to match on your wedding day, if you want to mix colours then go for it! The day is about your love for one another and each wedding day is so personal to each couple.

If you would like each bridesmaid in a different colour and completely different style then absolutely rock it!
